WE USE AN ATA CARNET

The ATA Carnet (Admission Temporaire/Temporary Admission) is an international customs document which allows an individual / business to temporarily export or import goods for commercial purposes to and from a country without having to pay duty or taxes on the goods that will be re-exported within 12 or 6 months (for exhibition and fairs goods).

It significantly simplifies the customs clearance procedure for temporary entrance of goods and saves both time and money. This document substitutes customs declaration ensuring quicker and more simply customs procedures and allows its holder to visit several countries.

However, there are a number of countries that do not accept carnets. In these countries, companies can post Temporary Importation Bond or apply for a duty drawback as an alternative means to duty free importation.
